I am a graphic designer and scientific illustrator. I grew up in San Antonio, TX and spent weekends exploring Cibolo Creek in the Texas Hill Country as a child.
I received degrees in art and geology at Denison University in Ohio. After college I lived and worked in Colorado, Arizona, California, Utah, Wyoming and Washington. I also spent a summer as an FV Hayden Paleontology Intern at Badlands National Park in South Dakota. In 2001, I completed a graduate program in Scientific Illustration at the University of California Santa Cruz (program now part of CSU - Monterey Bay).
My designs include WPA-style national park posters for Ranger Doug's Enterprises and freelance art projects for parks, organizations and private commissions. My family and I live in Dripping Springs, TX.
